Bucharest

Bucharest is the capital of Romania, the largest city, and home to more than 2 million people.
You will find plenty coworking spaces in Bucharest and many cafes where you can work, a lot of options for accommodation, all sorts of activities and sports areas, parks, seasonal events and festivals, nightlife and fast internet.
Here you will also find the Parliament Palace, the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon.
Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) is located 16.5 km (10.3 mi) north of the Bucharest city centre.

It has also been called the Silicon Valley of Transylvania as more startups and tech specialists head towards this city.

Timișoara

Timișoara is the largest city in western Romania, as well as the main economic, social and cultural center of the region. It is also a great place to stop, even if for a few days, when driving from the west, entering Romania from Hungary. The city will receive the title of European Capital of Culture in 2023 (postponed from 2021).
Located 12 km (7.5 mi) from Timișoara, in the northeastern part of the city, Traian Vuia International Airport is the third busiest Romanian airport in terms of passenger numbers.

Iași
In the eastern side of the country you will find Iași. Brașov

If you love mountains, you need to check Brașov and all its surroundings. Being just a couple of hours drive from Bucharest, this area is also the one preferred by the Bucharest inhabitants during the weekends. Poiana Brașov, which is just 15 minutes away from Brașov, offers ski and snowboard slopes during the winter months. The rest of the year, the scenery is still beautiful, due to all the nature that surrounds the city.
Since 2023, Brașov also has an operating airport.
